Michelle Trachtenberg Joins Weeds
By Luke Kerr on June 28, 2011
Nancy Botwin (Mary-Louise Parker) may have gotten out of jail early on the season premiere of Weeds, but it looks she’ll have a new rival to deal with when she reverts to her old ways later this season. According to TVLine, my second favorite Gossip Girl bad girl, Michelle Trachtenberg is joining Weeds for a two-episode stint as Silas' (Hunter Parrish) love interest and a hashish-peddling rival for Nancy.

Weeds Season 7 Teaser!
By Akash Nikolas on April 21, 2011
TV Line has a new teaser for season seven of Weeds, which premieres on Showtime June 27! I know I can't wait for this awesome show to come back. Especially after that season finale where everyone leaves Nancy (Mary Louise Parker) and she takes the fall for Shane (Alexander Gould) by falsely copping to killing Pilar. Apparently, Nancy won't get out of this jam as easily as she normally does. The new season will find her dealing with jail, a halfway house, and some folks even more screwed up than she is! Check out the teaser and share your thoughts in the comments.

Showtime Picks up Kristen Bell's House of Lies
By Luke Kerr on April 07, 2011
If you aren’t watching Showtime, you should be. No other cable network has a portfolio of TV series that DEMAND priority when recording conflicts break out on your DVR. From its veteran comedy Weeds to its latest offering The Borgias, Showtime delivers every time. Not even my beloved USA or one-time favorite FX (The amazing Justified is the only show on FX that keeps me coming back) comes close. The quantity of Showtime's quality original programming makes it worth every penny you pay for it each month.
Now, there is another reason to tune in. Showtime is officially the new home of former Veronica Mars star Kristen Bell. According to Deadline, Showtime has picked up the comedy House of Lies, starring Bell and Don Cheadle, for twelve episodes.
