The Tudors
Amazon to Stream 18 Shows From CBS Library
By Luke Kerr on July 20, 2011

You may not be able to find CBS TV series on Hulu, but soon you’ll be able to stream them on Amazon. In a non-exclusive licensing deal, reported by Tech Crunch, Amazon will offer 18 TV series from the CBS library–including The Tudors, Numb3rs, Medium, Frasier, Cheers and the complete Star Trek franchise–and help add 2,000 episodes to its library.
The agreement between Amazon and CBS comes at a time when Netflix customers have been outraged by price increases and Instant Streaming outages. Would you consider switching from Netflix to Amazon?
Watch The First 14 Minutes of HBO's Game of Thrones!
By Luke Kerr on April 04, 2011
After HBO’s ROME, Showtime found success with The Tudors and hopefully now The Borgias. Spartacus: Blood and Sand helped to rebrand Starz as an original programming destination and just gave us Camelot. On April 17, HBO is getting back in the sword-fighting business with the highly-anticipated series Game of Thrones. Fourteen days before its premiere the premium cable network released Game of Thrones’ first 14 minutes, and let’s just say it doesn’t take any prisoners. Watch the first 14 minutes of Game of Thrones after the jump!

Check Out Showtime's The Borgias Trailer
By Luke Kerr on December 07, 2010Except for The Tudors, I don’t think I’ve looked forward to a Showtime series as much as I have The Borgias. Set in the high stakes world of papal intrigue, The Borgias stars Jeremy Irons as Rodrigo Borgias and focuses on the father turned pontiff’s masterful manipulations of family, church and state.
With a tagline like “The Original Crime Family”, how can one not expect it to be The Tudors meets The Sopranos, with a big dose of medieval Catholicism? Watch the juicy trailer after the jump!
