A 'New Kid' on the CSI: NY Block

 

Entertainment Weekly is reporting New Kids On The Block heartthrob Joey McIntyre has landed a guest starring role on CSI: New York. McIntyre is slated to play Ray, a man who busts a cap at a CSI. The singer/actor's debut on the show is scheduled for Oct. 14. Season 8 of CSI: New York returns on Sept. 28 at 9 PM EST.

Celebrities Support The John Varvatos 8th Annual Stuart House Benefit

Former daytime and current primetime soap stars were among the celebrities who turned out for the 2011 John Varvatos Stuart House Benefit on March 13 in Los Angeles. Former CSI: New York and Guiding Light star Melina Kanakaredes (pictured above), CSI: Miami star/All My Children alum Eva La Rue (pictured above with daughter Kaya), 90210 star Trevor Donovan (ex-Jeremy, Days of Our Lives), Mad Men and Gossip Girl guest star and All My Children grad Sam Page,  ex-Dawson’s Creek star James Van Der Beek and cast members from Grey’s Anatomy and Glee were just a few of the celebrities who attended the benefit.  See more photos from the event after the jump!

Which on The Bubble Show Needs to be Saved?

TV Guide has released its list of the 13 network series in danger of getting canceled. Some of them are new series, such as Undercovers, Running Wilde and The Whole Truth. One one its list, Outlaw, has already been canceled by NBC.  Others mentioned are veteran series such as Chuck, CSI: New York and Fringe. Sophomore series Life Unexpected and Parenthood also made the list.

CBS Brings Out Big Guns as Tom Selleck and Sela Ward Fight Friday Night Crime

Tom Selleck returns to broadcast TV tonight in the new crime drama Blue Bloods on CBS. In Blue Bloods, Selleck portrays Frank Reagan the New York City Police Commissioner and the head of a family of cops. In a move that CBS hopes will help it continue to dominate Friday night ratings, CBS has moved one of its reliable warhorses, CSI: NY, to Fridays and brought on Sela Ward (Editor's note: Teddy from Sisters!!!) as its newest team member. It will be interesting to see if the other network’s series have what it takes to go up against CSI: NY, newcomer Blue Bloods and the steady Medium on Fridays.

It’s official, Sela Ward is joining the cast of CSI: New York after it was announced on Monday Melina Kanakaredes won’t be a part of the crime drama’s seventh season.
