CBS Reveals 2011-2012 Fall Schedule
By Luke Kerr on May 18, 2011Unlike ABC and NBC, which both have a number of slots to fill; the CBS schedule is quite stable. The Tiffany network announced its 2011-2012 schedule on May 18, introducing just five new series to its lineup. 2 Broke Girls joins the network’s Monday comedy lineup. Unforgettable will follow NCIS: Los Angeles on Tuesday.
No freshman series will air on Wednesday, but CBS has moved CSI from its Thursday timeslot to Wednesday, where it will follow Criminal Minds. This provides an opening for the network to shake things up on Thursday. Now, How to be a Gentleman and Person of Interest will join the war against Fox's Bones, The X Factor and American Idol and ABC’s Charlie’s Angels and Grey’s Anatomy.
Friday nights will kick off with newcomer A Gifted Man, while Rules of Engagement moves to Saturday. Those wondering what happened to The Good Wife on Tuesday will be happy to learn the critically acclaimed drama has been moved to Sunday nights, where it will air opposite of Desperate Housewives.
