TVLine's Michael Ausiello is reporting that Boy Meets World heartthrob Ben Savage has snagged a guest starring role on Bones. According to the site, Savage will play an ex-shipping store worker, who is a murder suspect. Reportedly, the character is married to another suspect who went in with a group to buy a lottery ticket. 

Savage heads to the series in December. Bones returns for its seventh season Nov. 3 at 9 PM EST on Fox.

Talk about a blast from our soapy pasts! Sexpot Morgan Fairchild has scored a guest star gig on Fox's medical drama Bones, according to TV Guide. The original Jenna Wade from Dallas, who also appeared on such sudsers as Falcon Crest, Flamingo Road and most recently The Bold and the Beautiful, is set to play a toy company owner who must contend with the remains of one of her execs being found, leading to a medical mystery on the procedural. Look for Fairchild to show up in the third episode of Bones next season.

Fox has released its fall premiere dates. The premieres will kick-off with Glee’s Season 3 bow.  However, if any “Gleeks” need a fix sooner, Jane Lynch (Sue Sylvester) will be hosting the Primetime Emmys Sunday, Sept. 18 on Fox.

Fox unveiled their 2011 Fall Schedule and their lineup in 2012 when American Idol returns. This fall, Fox’s prehistoric drama Terra Nova will be paired with House on Mondays. When it takes a break in the new year, Alcatraz will be paired with House.  Fox is giving the comedy New Girl a chance on its Tuesday lineup.

The X Factor’s performance show will air on Wednesday and the results show airs on Thursday. I Hate My Teenage Daughter gets the plum spot after the singing competition series on Wednesdays. In 2012, the Bones' spinoff The Finder will air on Thursday. Last week Deadline reported The Finder was in the running to be picked up because of Bones star Emily Deschanel's pregnancy. According to Fox's schedule, both shows could air in 2012.

Fox’s Sunday animation lineup gets two new series. Allen Gregory debuts in the fall and when its season ends Napoleon Dynamite joins veterans Family Guy, The Simpsons and American Dad.

Great news for fans of Fox’s Bones. The show’s star, David Boreanaz, tweeted that series has been picked up for a seventh season.
