Will Smith is following in James Franco's soapy shoes and is interested in making a cameo on a soap opera! But unfortunately it's not a U.S. soap opera. While spending time in England promoting his new movie Seven Pounds, Will turned on the TV and became instantly addicted to an EastEnders marathon. He is now hoping to land a quick cameo appearance on the BBC 1 sudser.

I was just chilling in my hotel and EastEnders was on TV. I didn't even know what it was, but I literally could not stop watching it.

It was so real and gritty. American soaps are all about the beautiful people and being cheesy. This soap had everything.

 

There was fighting, people sleeping around - it had it all going on! I'm a bit busy but when things quieten down I'd love to do a cameo. I could make a big entrance in the pub, as you guys call it, and be like: 'Hey, girl let's take this outside.'

The Daily Mail is reporting Mollie Sugden has died at the age of 86. The British actress is best known to North American audiences as Mrs. Betty Slocombe on the BBC classic Are You Being Served?, which still airs on many PBS stations.

Sugden was a master of slapstick comedy. The character of Mrs. Slocombe often found herself caught up in the middle of outrageous hijinks as she defended her turf as the Head of the Ladies Department at Grace Brothers. The character of Mrs. Slocombe is most noted for her unusual hair colors, the referral to her cat Tiddles as "my pussy" and her catch phrases "and I am unanimous in that." READ MORE
