Robert Pattinson Talks 'Hardcore Graphic' Breaking Dawn Scene
By Akash Nikolas on July 21, 2011
No, relax. The Twilight hunk was not referring to a threesome scene between his vampire character, Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Jacob (Taylor Lautner). Instead, Robert Pattinson told the audience at Comic-Con about a graphic baby-birthing scene in the upcoming Twilight film Breaking Dawn, as Bella delivers their half-vampire, half-mortal child. The Huffington Post has the full story:
"The birth scene is so different from everything else in the movie. For a fantasy series it goes quite far. It's hardcore, it's graphic. There's no other way to do it. It was fun."

Twilight Cleans Up at MTV Movie Awards...Again!
By Akash Nikolas on June 05, 2011
Once again, the Twilight franchise swept the MTV Movie Awards with Twilight: Eclipse winning Best Movie, Best Female Performance (Kristen Stewart), Best Male Performance (Robert Pattinson), Best Kiss (Pattinson & Stewart) and Best Fight (Pattinson vs. Bryce Dallas Howard and Xavier Samuel). No other movie really stood a chance, as the film went undefeated in every category it was eligible, save for one (Best Breakout Star). Indeed, when it comes to the MTV Movie Awards -- whose winners are chosen online mostly by teenagers -- the vampire romance saga always cleans up. Both the original Twilight and the sequel Twilight: New Moon, swept the awards in 2009 and 2010. The film even beat itself this year as Team Edward defeated Team Jacob (Taylor Lautner) for Best Male Performance and Best Kiss. See a full list of winners including awards that actually went to other films at MTV.com.

Will Chris Hemsworth Go From Thor to Snow White?
By Akash Nikolas on May 09, 2011
If you didn't get enough of Chris Hemsworth's undulating sexiness during this week's #1 box office champ Thor, you may want to check out Snow White and the Huntsman, a live-action re-telling of the classic fairytale. In this version, Snow White and the huntsman run off together. Production is underway and Hemsworth has been offered the lead male part, because anyone who can wield a hammer like that is certainly masculine enough to play a huntsman. It's almost certain that Kristen Stewart will be playing Snow White, with Oscar-winner Charlize Theron as the evil queen. So, if you're keeping score, Kristen Stewart -- who's already had the chance to play love interest against Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner -- may be locking lips with Chris Hemsworth as well. That girl must have been born under the good moon! Entertainment Weekly has the full story.

MTV Movie Award Nominations: Vampires, Wizards and Black Swans!
By Akash Nikolas on May 03, 2011

The nominations for the 2011 MTV Movie Awards have been announced, and Twilight dominated with eight nominations including Best Movie. Its competition in that category includes Inception (seven nominations), Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part I (six nominations), The Social Network (5 nominations) and Black Swan (4 nominations). As you may have noticed, three of those films were Oscar-nominated, which is unusual for the MTV Movie Awards, which features such silly categories as Best Kiss and Biggest Badass Star. That crossover is less so in the acting categories where Oscar-winner Natalie Portman and Oscar-nominee Jesse Eisenberg face off against the likes of teen favorites Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Kristen Stewart, Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson. See the full list of nominees on MTV's website.

New Twilight: Breaking Dawn Photos Revealed!
By Akash Nikolas on May 02, 2011
New photos from the upcoming installment in the Twilight franchise, Breaking Dawn, have finally been revealed. The photos are strikingly beautiful and more mature than the earlier incarnations. Director Bill Condon has taken over the project. Condon won an Academy Award for writing Gods and Monsters and was nominated again for adapting the screenplay for Chicago. He also directed Kinsey and Dreamgirls. Here's what he said about the latest installment:
"We shot everything -- whether it's the lovemaking or the childbirth -- as potent and powerful as it can be. It will be interesting to see whether there will be people who think it too disturbing for this universe."
All of the photos can be viewed at The Huffington Post.
