NBC Reveals 2011-2012 Fall Schedule


NBC has released their Fall 2011 schedule, and from the looks of it they plan to fill a lot of holes from this past season. The only night that doesn’t have a new show is Tuesday, where The Biggest Loser and Parenthood continue to hold down the fort.

Eddie Cibrian’s The Playboy Club will air on Mondays. Comedies Up All Night and Free Agents will air on Wednesday. NBC adds Whitney to its comedy lineup on Thursday and will air the drama Prime Suspect from 10-11 p.m. The fairy tale series Grimm will be sandwiched between Chuck and Dateline NBC on Fridays. Alison Sweeney and Style Network's Ruby Look Fabulicious While Fighting Obesity




Soap diva by day(time) and weight loss warrior princess in primetime, Alison Sweeney (Days of Our Lives, The Biggest Loser) teamed up with Style Network's Ruby Gettinger (Ruby) at the first ever "Fight with Style: Healthy Moms + Healthy Kids" Town Hall on Saturday, April 16. NBC Renews The Biggest Loser!

Alison Sweeney and the team at The Biggest Loser received some good news about next season. NBC renewed the weight-loss competition series for the 2011-2012 broadcast season, according to The Live Feed. The network also renewed Who Do You think You Are? and The Sing Off.

NBC’s Bob Greenblatt had this to say in a statement:

"Alternative series such as these three bona fide hits are important not only to their loyal audiences but also as strong components of the NBC schedule," said Greenblatt. “They are each unique, attention-getting shows with terrific producing and talent auspices, and we're proud to be associated with them."
 

Alison Sweeney and Biggest Losers Trainers to Hold Auction to Benefit Striking Crew

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Days of Our Lives and The Biggest Loser star Alison Sweeney along with co-stars Jillian Michaels and Bob Harper are currently holding an eBay auction to raise money for their striking crew. Trainers Michaels and Harper are offering bids for a one-on-one personal training session for an hour, while Sweeney is auctioning three private lunches with her. All of the money raised will be given to the BL Strike Relief FundThe Biggest Loser crew is on strike in order to become unionized via the IATSE.
