Alex Pettyfer to Play Channing Tatum; Tatum Plays Tatum's Mentor

Sounds more like the plot of Inception, no? Deadline reports that Steven Soderbergh will direct Magic Mike, a film based on the real life stripper/dancer past of actor Channing Tatum. The fascinating part is that Channing has been cast in the film, but he won't be playing himself. Newcomer Alex Pettyfer will play the Tatum role while Tatum himself will play the (ouch) older mentor.

Dear John Trailer

Nicholas Sparks can melt even my frigid heart and the trailer looks really classic. This is one to watch for.
