'The Princess and the Frog,' is Number One, Box Office Magic for the Mouse House!

Not a surprise, Disney's wonderful The Princess and the Frog (Rotten Tomatoes gave it 83%) wins big at the only place that matters: the mighty box office. According to USA Today Frog took over the top spot in style taking in almost 10 million dollars more than number two. Oddly though, The Princess and the Frog pulled in adults with "one in five" attending without kids. Parents looking for family fare of course were expected but the adult attendance surprised even Disney.

Luckily Disney chose to present The Princess and the Frog as a classic Disney animation without a lot of graphics tricks proving that great films don't need lots of tricks. Yay Disney! Pixar can share the spotlight. There will always be a place for the classic style. READ MORE
