Warner Bros Sinks Fangs Into Buffy The Vampire Slayer Movie

Talk about a movie that will have some high expectations! According to Deadline, Warner Bros is working on a new Buffy the Vampire Slayer film. The first Buffy movie hit theatres in 1992, but was later adapted into the TV series on The WB, starring Sarah Michelle Gellar. TV's Buffy also gave us the spinoff Angel with David Boreanaz, who now stars on Fox's BONES.

Buffy and Angel signed off in 2003 and 2004 respectively, but in today’s world, where online media, social networks and vocal fan bases put every little detail under the microscope, there is bound to be pressure on the new film.

What is Your Favorite Vampire Movie of All Time?

Howling keeping you up every night? The blood bank down the street always running low? Does that hottie that you only see after dark and with the strange glowing red eyes keep asking you out? Invite 'em in, pop up a big batch of popcorn (butter for you, type A for them) and curl up to watch some of the most frightening vampire films ever made. These films don't suck, but their lead characters do!
