Bryan Singer to direct X-Men: First Class

Bryan Singer, director of X-Men, X2, and Superman Returns will be directing X-Men First Class.  The film will be a origins story for the characters of Cyclops, Jean Grey, and others at Xavier Institure for Higher Learning. 

According to IMDB, Singer has three films currently in pre-production (Jack the Giant Killer, Battlestar Galactica, and Excalibur....so I don't know if he is doing this after doing all of those films or after one or two.  I'm sure after they have a script ready they will announce the release date. 

I wonder if they will get new actors or if they will keep the origina cast.
