This could be a really tough discussion. I didn't used to like Streep  and then I saw the light and now I do.

Didn't used to like Meryl Streep??? *shock*

My faves: Sophie's Choice, Silkwood, Postcards from the Edge, Defending Your Life, The Deer Hunter, Kramer vs. Kramer, Manhattan (she had a small part, but it's one of my favorite films.)

Movies that weren't great, but she gave wonderful performances in: Devil Wears Prada, Bridges of Madison County, Death Becomes Her, French Lieutenant's Woman (2 good Streep performances in that one), Heartburn, Mamma Mia!

The only movies I've seen with her are Julie & Juia, Doubt, Devil Wears Prada, Kramer vs. Kramer, and The Deer Hunter.  I liked all of them except The Deer Hunter.  For some reason I really really liked Devil Wears Prada.  I think I have seen it like five times.

I love Meryl Streep. No matter what she's in, I make an effort to go see it just because of her. I want to see her new movie It's Complicated, but I'll probably wait until it's on DVD. Other Meryle Streep movies I love are:

The Devil Wears Prada - Lost, I really love this movie as well. I've watched it many times and I'm still not sick of it!
The Bridges of Madison County - I know...it's the ultimate chick flick!
The River Wild - Another movie I loved
Out Of Africa - A classic
Kramer vs. Kramer

I've seen so many of her movies, but I'm blanking on some right now.

Really just one? Man this is hard considering that everything that woman touches is gold. I'm going to have to go with Death Becomes Her. Even though it wasn't a fantastic display of her dramatic expertise it was freakin hilarious and so under rated.

Sophie's Choice, Out of Africa, Silkwood and one of my favorite of her performances, though kind of a small role: Defending Your Life

Definitly "Devil," though I must admit I''ve not seen all of her movies. I think it's so great how she can become absolutly someone else and you don't even remember it's her.
