I bet.  Just curious what are ticket prices up there for a regular movie?  IMAX?  I usually pay $6.50 for each movie at Regal with my coupons and without them its normally around $10.50.  IMAX at the closest theater is $15.

Ticket prices here are $9. If you go to a 3D movie it's another 3 bucks for the glasses. I haven't been to an IMAX theater in ages so have no clue about those prices.

The cheapest prices are the matinee...They are only $6.75 each.

As for 3D movies. Maybe I'm clueless, but I don't get the whole 3D thing. I went to the last Ice Age in 3D and didn't see any marked enjoyment watching it in 3D and actually prefer to watch non 3D movies.

I went to see Toy Story 1/2 last month and it said it was in 3d and I got the glasses with it but it didnt feel like 3d at all.  I am looking forward to the Avatar experience next month.  If that movie is half as good as people are saying it is then I'll be satisfied.

Tickets are about twelve bucks and change here in New York City. I can't remember the exact prices for movies in Imax or 3-D.

OH CRAP!

Guess which movie is also coming out in 3D.  Titanic.  Thats right Titanic.  Appraney that $1.8 Billion dollars it made weren't enough for Paramount so in 2011 will re-release it in 3D.  I would love to watch the film again in theaters but not in 3D.

How much is a kidney anyway? I've thinking about heading to an Imax to see Avatar. I figure my kidneys are still somewhat fresh.

I don't really find 3D movies a great experience for me, more like a gimmick. Though some day I hope they have real 3D films without the goofy glasses. It could happen :)

A kidney can go for as much as ten thousand dollars. So that should at least cover the ticket and any concession stand favorites. lol

They are releasing so many films in 3D because they can charge more and folks are paying it.  I watched Christmas Carol in 2D and it was less distracting.  I will continue to watch these films in 2D to save myself the migraines.

Just watched Avatar in IMAX3D today and if future 3D movies are going to be as good as this than I have absolutly no problem with more 3D movies in the future.

Usually, I've been disappointed with the 3D movie - maybe I expect too much.  The glasses are not comfortable and the cost hasn't been worth it.

We have a theater near by that lets us re-use our glasses and we save a whole buck everytime we go.  The price with your own glasses is 8.50 for a matinee and I believe 11 at night

When we saw A Christmas Carol in 2D I didn't feel like I was missing anything...I think we'll be sticking to 2D unless something really makes use of the 3D.
