JR Martinez Chosen as Rose Parade Grand Marshal

Iraq vet, Dancing With the Stars contender and All My Children star JR Martinez has been named the 2012 Tournament of Roses Grand Marshal, according to Access Hollywood. Reportedly, Martinez will also make the coin toss before the 98th Rose Bowl Game.

I cant express enough how happy I am for this man!!! Love to you JR (BROTT). Does anyone rember when Brott first went on AMC paired with Taylor (Beth Ehlers). She made a stink because in the words-- I love JR BUT - "he's not an actor". Never saw her since. He is the best.

I realize that Beth Ehlers has won Emmys, but I always felt that the reason there was zero chemistry between her and JR was because of HER, not him. She bored me silly on AMC and JR was perfectly fine after she was gone. He turned out to be a darn good actor for somehow who himself had said "I'm not an actor." Professionally, he wasn't, but he turned out to have a talent for it. And suddenly he's becoming really famous!

JR Martinez deserves all the positive accolades that he receives. He's an ALL-AMERICAN hero!
And as for Beth Ehlers, I have always admired and enjoyed her as an actress, but she clearly had DIVA SYNDROME, which is her own problem. Plus, you can't criticize a disabled war veteran and expect to get away with it, even in "gest". What goes around comes around!!! She had

He is gifted, talented and wears his courage in the best possible manner: Acknowledging what he has been through, taking it and making it work for him as opposed to lamenting it. That he is humble about his success only makes me admire him all the more. I look forward to any follow up projects he has lined up. God bless JR...
