Did ABC’s Once Upon a Time Cast Its Spell on You?

The ratings are in for ABC’s Once Upon a Time and they are magical. According to TVLine, the epic fantasy series premiered to 12.8 million viewers against NBC football and game four of the World Series.

In fact, it’s ABC’s biggest audience in the time period with regular programming since March 2008 and its best 18-49 performance there in three years.

One of my three most anticipated new series of the fall–along with Revenge and Ringer–the show perfectly blended the worlds of magic and the modern day Storybrooke.  Starring Ginnifer Goodwin, Jennifer Morrison, Robert Carlyle, Lana Parrilla and Josh Dallas, Once Upon a Time casts a spell on viewers with its story of love, sacrifice, family and evil. Desperate Housewives helped make Sunday nights destination TV. If Once Upon a Time’s season is even half as good as its pilot, ABC has found a worth heir.

I loved it! The actors were great, the plot is cool, though I wish they would have been more mysterious with it...gave away too much. The fantasy parts were a bit heavy handed, but the modern stuff made up for it. Love the evil Mayor/Queen...the baddest!

The pilot was alright. I'm not completely blown over, but I've read that the second episode improves upon the pilot, so I'm willing to give it some time. Plus I loved Big Love and Ginnifer Goodwin LOL She's got such an honest face, love her! Thought the evil queen was quite good, too

I really enjoyed it. I don't think I've ever seen Jennifer Morrison before...I was a little distracted by how much she and Terri Conn look alike!

I'll admit, I already love this show! I love how Snow and Emma look so much alike although Jennifer Morrison is blonde right now, I wouldn't mind her dark hair coming back. It doesn't hurt that my inner 12 year old loves it as well.
