Which “On the Bubble” Show Needs to be Saved?

If you are worried your favorite new or returning TV series, you need to visit TV Guide and check out 11 Bubble Shows – Which Will Survive.  I compared TV Guide’s list of endangered series to TV By the Numbers’ Renew/Cancel Index. Ten of the eleven shows appeared as Toss Up, Likely to be Canceled and Certain to be Canceled by May 2012 categories. Hawaii Five-0 is the only series where the two sites differ. If you’re invested in one or more of these “On the Bubble” shows, this would be a good time to find out how to help keep it on the air.

Wow I am really surprised to see Hawaii 5 O on the list. I voted for it, as it is my favorite on this list. I did not realize it was in ratings trouble. I love this show...as well as quite a few more on the list. I think A Gifted Man, Unforgettable, and Body of Proof are all very good also.

As for Pan Am...it is just ok. Nobody on the cast really speaks to me. The rest I really don't watch.

GHfan777, I love Hawaii 5-O as well.

Last week it was up against House because of baseball playoffs went over and the Monday night game between the Bears and Lions so the ratings were down a bit. This week's ratings were back where it should be. So I wouldn't worry about 5-O.

Oh good...thank you for the heads up on the ratings Keanna...I would be really bummed if it went off the air. I love looking at Alex and all the Hawaiian scenery Wink

I know what you mean GHfan777, Alex has that effect on me, too. Love

Listen between him and Nathan Fillion on Castle, we can't go wrong on that timeslot. Plus TV By the Numbers updated the status for H50 and it got four smileys, and TV Guide had it on their list yesterday, but it's not on there anymore. Looks like someone at CBS told them to knock it off.

TVGuide has now removed Hawaii Five-0 from their list saying they've been told it's in no danger. It was ridiculous to include the show in the first place and I don't know why they even bothered except it was a good way to get hits on their blog I guess.

The only ones on the list that I care about are Hawaii five - O and Unforgettable. The rest have never drawn me in.

Love Body of Proof & PanAm! I'd be more than disappointed to see either go.

Here we go again! ABC will cancel Pan AM and Body of Proof then come out with 15 new shows next year which will all end up being on the chopping block. It is a vicious cycle with ABC always bringing out new shows each year then dropping them.

I like Pan Am and Body of Proof.

I have not gotten this emotionally invested in a TV show since China Beach 20 years ago. When I saw the promo for Pan Am, I just KNEW it was a show with potential! It's one of the BEST shows I've seen in a very long time. It definitely needs to be saved. If it is cancelled it won't be because it's a bad show no one liked, it will because those with decision making power have their brains in their posterior! As for Hawaii 5-0, I have to confess I was disappointed in it. Far too violent. To me, nothing beats the original from the 60s.
