By Luke Kerr on October 14, 2011

YES!!! I said it months ago when they announced they were bringing this piece of human excrement on. I said "It will go over about as good as a pregnant high jumper".

My sympathies to the cast and crew. I think the show was miscast. None of the angels was high profile or possessed that Farah Fawcett vavoom. Also, the show seemed to suffer from poor production values. It just looked cheap.
I think the show would have done better had it had a stronger pilot that brought back one or more of the previous angels from TV or film. Not helping the show is that airs against the CW's line up of teen horror soaps.
What made the first film successful is that the cast was well known and the movie didn't take itself too seriously. It was big, dopey, sexy, and outrageous. This show was milquetoast. Visualize taking toast and dunking it milk. Then toss that toast onto a plate to get cold. That's this show.

I watched one episode and found it merely okay. I did think it was too slick, and these angels didn't have the chemistry of the original 4 actresses back in the '70s. It would have needed a much better incarnation to be something worth watching.

Well, duh. Terrible word of mouth, terrible scripts, and miscast, horrible "actresses" equals cancellation.
When are the broadcast networks going to learn that we have hundreds of options on cable and satellite plus the internet now. If they don't hook viewers within the first couple of airings of any given show, it will NEVER catch on. They need to start airing crap that people will and want to watch.

I smelled this coming a mile away! It sounded HORRIBLE on paper.....and was even more horrific onscreen.

Can't say I'm surprised. I saw the trailer for it and immediately said, "No thanks!" In my opinion, the female-dominated action shows haven't been good since Xena Warrior Princess.
