Imaginary Bitches' Andrew Miller "Excited" to be Working With Kevin Williamson on The Secret Circle

With The CW making their fall 2011 lineup official today, the network is transforming Thursdays into "Kevin Williamson's Supernatural Soaps Night". Following Williamson's hit undead opera The Vampire Diaries next fall will be The Secret Circle, a steamy sudser about a coven of witches, based on the L.J. Smith book series from Alloy Entertainment.

Starring Life Unexpected alum Britt Robertson as Cassie, a high schooler who learns she's bewitched when she moves in with her grandma, The Secret Circle sounds like a cross between Cruel Intentions and The Craft. Thomas Dekker, Louis Hunter, Phoebe Tonkin, Jessica Parker Kennedy and Days of Our Lives alum Shelley Hennig round out the cast, while Andrew Miller, creator of the groundbreaking web series Imaginary Bitches, will be serving as executive producer alongside the venerable Williamson.

"I couldn't be more excited to work with Kevin and share a night with Vampire Diaries," said Miller, who's been heading back and forth between L.A. to Vancouver, where The Secret Circle is being filmed. "They set an extremely high bar and one I can't wait to reach for."

The dude who gave us Scream, I Know What You Did Last SummerDawson's Creek and The Vampire Diaries teaming with the guy who created the best web series ever? This will be good.

The Secret Circle will air at 9 pm EST this fall on The CW, immediately following The Vampire Diaries
