Shemar Moore Signs New Contract and Doubles Criminal Minds Salary

Looks like Shemar Moore won't be returning to Genoa City anytime soon. TV Line is reporting Moore has re-signed with the CBS crime drama Criminal Minds and is doubling his salary from $50,000 to $100,000 an episode!

I never thought there was even the slightest chance of Shemar Moore's returning to Y&R; but I'm still sad for the show, especially since the actor playing the current Malcolm isn’t even in the same league as Shemar, morally, artistically, or appearance-wise.

I am, however, glad for Shemar. He’s a genuinely nice man and deserves his success.

Glad to hear that about Shemar making the big bucks. Do miss him on Y and R
and can't stand the sad excuse for a replacement they hired. Oh well the show is on the downhill slide anyhow.

Love Love Love He's so dreamy. yum, yum, yum. Love him on Criminal Minds and double salary??? Get it! Such a damn shame that we have to be STUCK with Falcom Winslow in his place on Y&R, though.

OK. If I were more, I'd be a bit upset that it took this long to get this bump in salary. "Criminal Minds" has been on the air for years. Normally, a hit TV series will give its principal cast significant bumps in salary once the series has become a hit. Go back and look at the salary increases that the cast of the "Big Bang Theory" or even "White Collar" received after just two season on the air. The kid on "Two and a Half Men" makes $400K per episode.

Moore has been with "Criminal Minds" from the beginning. The reality is that Moore was getting screwed. He should have gotten this increase 3 years ago.
