Bethany Joy Galeotti Re-ups One Tree Hill Contract

I love OTH, I really do, been watching since my last year in high school when it premiered. But I hope they DON’T add anymore newbies IF it returns next season. Unfortunately, the show is losing viewers, though most of us are still loyal, but these are a few gripes.

Leyton needs to make a return before all is said and done. Hilarie went on record saying that Peyton was done in Tree Hill. Yeah, well, I thought it sucked she and Lucas didn’t even go to Brooke’s wedding. Sorry, but that was her BFF since childhood and for six seasons, Peyton Sawyer's favorite line was ‘People always leave’. Brooke said it best when she told Haley that Peyton was the one who left this time and didn't come back. And I’m a HUGE Peyton fan, but her not showing for Brooke's wedding was dumb. If next season is the end, she and Chad should make a return for the last show, at LEAST. He’s already said he would be willing to return for the last episode, if nothing else.

Also, Brooke needs to get her baby. Period. It took EIGHT seasons to finally get this girl married to a man who truly loves her and ONLY her and she was the most romantic one of the bunch. Albeit a bit trampy in the beginning, but the best characters always are, lol. I absolutely love Brooke and I want her to GET PREGNANT. This is one case were I was actually a fan of both Leyton and Brucas because I adored both girls. Lucas was the prick in the middle because he wanted his cake and ate every bit of it too. I’m sick of Brooke not getting the full-circle happy ending as well. She got married, but was then devastated when she didn’t get the baby, again. I like the fun side of Brooke. I like her toned down. I like her serious. But she needs some full-circle happy too.

AND… we need more Naley loving, I mean honestly. They are still my favorite couple of all time on that show. They are neck-in-neck with my Brenda/Dylan--Brandon/Kelly love on the original 90210. It’s like Nathan really had nothing to do all season, until now when we only have a few shows left, and that is so ridiculous. He should have been the new Lucas, taking over as the show’s official star. I mean damn, he gets first billing now! We get so many years of such an interesting and complex character like Nathan Scott with his effed up parents and his trying so hard to be a good husband and father, all the while trying to figure out how he was going to keep himself in the career he loved when the chips kept falling through the cracks and then he starts hanging out with ghosts and getting his wife pregnant OFF-SCREEN. Now I know that Bethany just had a baby in real life--congratulations to her, by the way! --so maybe next season they can have some more scenes in the rain like they used to. The last really hot scene between them, that I can remember anyway, was at Leyton’s wedding when they got it on in the bathroom. That was two seasons ago.

Chuckie Lee Torkelson AKA Mouth needs a damn hobby too. I hope Dan and Karen and even Deb make a few pit stops and it would be nice to see Keith again. That is the only ghost I want to see back in Tree Hill one more time.

And this will sound harsh, but I don’t care what happens to Quinn or Clay. When she and that psycho Katie were going at it during the storm, that’s the only time I was invested in her. I like Alex all right in small doses, but she’s sort of a whatever character for me too. And Stephen Colletti just seems like he’s there. Maybe we’ll see him again at the Laguna Beach MTV reunion. I hadn’t realized until I watched tonight that he was even in the opening credits too. Shows how much I pay attention to him.

Oh, and I know others like the various singers doing the original OTH opening, but I still like Gavin Degraw’s version the best. Saw him live once, he has a great voice.

Anyway, those are my hopes for Season 9, if it returns, and I’ll be watching regardless, lol. Sorry for the long rant/wish list.
