The van der Woodsens Circle the Wagons Around Lily on Gossip Girl

Last time we saw the van der Woodsen clan on Gossip Girl, they were circling the wagons around Lily (Kelly Rutherford) as she awaited the verdict. Things get interesting tonight when Lily’s sister Carol (Shelia Kelley) arrives in town, followed by her daughter Charlie (Kaylee DeFer), whom she has kept away from the Upper East Side.
What will Chuck (Ed Westwick) do when he finds out about Blair (Leighton Meester) and Dan (Penn Badgley)? I almost hate to admit it, but I’m sort of digging Blair and Dan together.

OMIGAWD!!! DAIR!!! DAIR has FIYA! Can't deny that! You just cant, lol. And is that them getting it on in the promo??? Whew! They add spice to the show, and it's much needed at this point. Dair SO gives Chair a run for their money, and I was a Chair fan! But now it's Dair, dair, dair, all the way! IMHO, of course, lol. Not to mention, I'm so OVER him and Serena. She bounces between boys like a basketball... in need of deflation!

WOW! That looks AWESOME! I just cannot think of any other character that could have a viable quadrangle like that and have it be so compelling and not dumb or incredibly lopsided. I was a Chair fan from day 1, but Dair has breathed a new life into this show. Chair has become toxic and at the very least, they need a long break away from each other. I am not saying that they are not the end game(although I am no longer willing to say that they are) and I am not saying that Dair should be permanent (although I am similarly not so sure that they should not be). This is like Kelly/Brandon/Dylan (Team Kelly and Brandom! Dylan belonged with Brenda)for a new generation, with a prince thrown in for an Upper East Side twist. And Blair will not be lame and pick herself.

Sorry, I cannot get into Dair. I am a Chuck and Blair fan all the way and til the end. But their back and forth with the couple has been losing me as a viewer. Especially since the show has no other appeal. It has become so boring.
