Gwyneth Paltrow Releases Cook Book

Gwyneth Paltrow wants you to know that despite being stick-thin, she does in fact eat. The Oscar-winning actress -- who's recently experienced a pop-culture comeback with a fan-favorite guest role on Glee, and appearances on several award shows -- has now released her own cook book: My Father's Daughter: Delicious Easy Recipes Celebrating Family and Togetherness. The book, which is available on Amazon was recently featured in a charming New Yorker profile, in which a coterie of Paltrow's celebrity friends attest to the surprising fact that the willowy actress is the talented cook among her social set. Said Paltrow:

“I’ve been the cook amongst my family and friends for years. That’s why I wrote the book. Because my friends are, like, ‘How do you make that? I want your chili recipe!’ [Today I had] a cappuccino, some poached eggs with spinach, an apple, almonds, some cheese and bread, and a turkey sandwich with avocado and tomato. People who don’t know me think that I only eat seaweed and rice balls.”

You've heard of skinny jeans. Well Paltrow must just be blessed with skinny genes.
