Wonder Woman Lassos Justin Bruening
By Luke Kerr on March 24, 2011

It looks like Alexa Havins isn’t the only one in the family employed these days. According to TV Line, Havins’ husband and former Knight Rider and All My Children star Justin Bruening has joined NBC’s Wonder Woman. Reportedly, he will portray army vet Steve Trevor, the love of Wonder Woman's (Adrienne Palicki) life.

I think this is great news. I will watch since I love Justin and actually his wife too! I think they are both great talents and definitely easy on the eyes. : )

Now if only they would get Rhianna to play the amazon's arch-nemesis "Cheetah" and I will be happy as a cat!

I wish him well, but Justin doesn't have great luck with primetime pilots. "Knight Rider" was DREADFUL, and I only watched because I felt like a proud papa that Justin had found a new gig. For his sake, as well as the sake of Alexa and his new baby, I hope that this new show is successful.

Alstonboy,
How can you reasonably say that Bruening doesn't have luck with pilots? He's only been in one primetime show that had a full season and was canceled! There are many successful actors who have been in more pilots and failed series. Courtney Cox was in a number of failed TV shows before she hit the big time and big bucks with Friends. She then went on to the TV show Dirt, which lasted 2 seasons before cancellation. Now she's on "Cougar Town."
Knight Rider was actually a successful pilot. The pilot earned good ratings and became a series. Therefore, the pilot was successful. The series failed because it had lousy, convoluted writing that missed the point about what made the original series successful.

Poor Justin Bruening, he just can't get on a winning train. This Wonder Woman show is doomed from the start. As a comics fan, I was kind of appalled at what David E. Kelley had planned. Turned a Goddess into some whimpering mess of a woman. Dob't get me started on that awful porno costume. Adrianne Palicki is a decent actress, and not wholly unattractive, but she is kind of average looking to be an Amazon Goddess. And sorry, wonder woman was always naturally bangin', she didn't have fake boobies.
Back on topic, I wish Justin the best.

I just watched the original Wonder Woman with Lynda Carter (on DVD) and this new show will pale in comparison. Yes, the original was very campy but also quite good at times. Much like the Bionic Woman in the 70's. The latest version of the Bionic Woman was horrible! I have a feeling this "new" Wonder Woman will suffer the same fate..

I love Justin Bruning but if he can't make Knight Rider a hit, I fail to see how he'll do it with Wonder Woman.
