Anne Hathaway is Catwoman!

With the third installment to Chris Nolan's Batman set to start filming, news has broken that Anne Hathaway will be purring new life into the character of Catwoman for The Dark Knight Rises. Hathaway will pull double duty as the role requires, tackling not only Catwoman, but Selina Kyle, the Cat's "human" alter-ego.

According to Deadline.com, Tom Hardy will join Hathaway as the villian Bane. For those of us who don't have our noses in Batman comic books, here's Deadline's history lesson on the villian:
Tom Hardy will play the villain role of Bane, an escaped prisoner who became abnormally strong after being pumped full of drugs. Bane is known as "the man who broke the Bat" after he broke Batman's spinal cord in the comics storyline.
