Will James Cameron Direct Angelina Jolie in 3D Cleopatra?

All hail the Queen! And no I don't mean Queen Elizabeth, Helen Mirren, Queen Latifah or one-time silver screen queen Elizabeth Taylor. I’m talking about that wondrous beauty, and queen of Brad Pitt’s heart, Angelina Jolie who, according to Deadline, will possibly be directed by Titanic and Avatar heavyweight James Cameron in an upcoming 3D version of Cleopatra.

In other Jolie news, the actress is defending her first directorial project amidst controversy about the film's content. Centered on the love story of a Serbian man and a Bosnian woman, who meet at the beginning of the country's war, the yet-to-be-titled film tells how it impacted their relationship. However, according to People:

But once stories arose in Bosnia-Herzegovina that the film's love story concerned a Serbian rapist and his Muslim captive, objections were raised by the association Women Victims of War, who accused the film of presenting "misleading history." Their objections reportedly helped prompt Bosnia's culture minister, Gavrilo Grahovac, to revoke Jolie's permit to shoot in Sarajevo.
