New Moon Director Chris Weitz Stands Up For Woman Accused Of Pirating New Moon!

The Twilight Saga: New Moon director Chris Weitz is coming to the aid of a 22-year-old Chicago woman who is being accused of pirating three minutes of the film at a surprise birthday party and was arrested, spending two nights in jail, and is facing years in jail.

Personally I do not think I can be more disgusted by the MPAA, and all of the other copyright holders that created this situation in which a woman can be thrown IN JAIL for taping three MINUTES of content in which she is talking and obviously not pirating the movie. But hey every pirate counts right? Why go after the crazy bootleggers selling dvd's outside of the movie theater when they can toss this young woman in JAIL? This story just infuriates me to no end, so I look forward to reading your comments!
