"Precious" Stars at 47th Annual New York Film Festival

Precious: Based on the Novel Push by Sapphire has already won the Sundance Film Festival. Friday, its cast, including Mariah Carey, Sherri Shepherd, Gabourey Sidibe, Xosha Roquemore, Paula Patton, Chyna Layne and Lenny Kravitz, attended its debut at the New York Film Festival. The premiere of Precious also brought out stars such as Jane Fonda, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Bobby Cannavale, Gayle King, Mary J. Blige, Harvey Keitel and Steve Buscemi. I cannot wait to see this movie! The novel was excellent and from what I've seen the movie looks even better!

I know right, I can care less what the actors are wearing more concern about the performance and from the scenes that I have seen this is deserving of all the hype it is getting. The book was great and there is already oscar buzz around some of the actors.
Why can't we get writing like this on the soaps?

I'm sorry maybe I'm not seeing what the rest of you are seeing. I don't see the movie itself as being posted but the red carpet. So that's what I'm commenting on.
