James McAvoy Voted Scotland's Sexiest Man

To celebrate the 79th birthday of legendary sexy Scot Sir Sean Connery, Homecoming Scotland 2009 ran a light-hearted survey to find out which Scottish male sends our hearts aflutter. Atonement, Wanted, and Last King of Scotland star James McAvoy has been voted hottest Scotsman in the the poll, in which over one million people voted. Coming in second place was TV's Dr. Who, David Tennant.

In third spot came Trainspotting star Ewan McGregor, who is starring alongside Hilary Swank in the film Amelia, set to arrive into theaters October 23, 2009.

Finally, coming in fourth place, is 300 star Gerard Butler, who has a few new movies coming out very soon. First is Gamer, which is to be released this weekend in theaters and Law Abiding Citizen, which is set to wow audiences on October 16, 2009.
