Spartacus: Vengeance Premieres Tonight on Starz!

Have you missed the blood, gore and sex of Starz’s Spartacus franchise? Tonight the cable network’s hit gladiator drama returns with Spartacus: Vengeance, which picks up where Spartacus: Blood and Sands left off. Spartacus: Vengeance stars Liam McIntyre, who took over the role of Spartacus after Andy Whitfield was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

Zap2it caught up with Spartacus: Vengeance show runner Steven DeKnight, who previewed this season’s body count.

"It's a Steve DeKnight show. I learned at the knee of Joss Whedon. I'm going to probably kill somebody you love. I mean, that just happens. In this show, each season, we will continue to kill off our beloved children. Like we did at the end of Season 1.

According to TVLine, The CW’s BATB pilot will be loosely based on the 1980s series (picture above). Meanwhile, ABC’s BATB is “a fantastical reimagining of the classic fairy tale, set in a mythical, dangerous world wherein a beautiful and tough Princess discovers an unlikely connection with a mysterious beast,” according to site.
